There no reason math crossword puzzles have to be limited to arithmetic. You could make one for algebra, geometry, trigonometry, or even calculus. If each problem as an answer, there's no reason why you can't put that answer into a crossword puzzle. If you make one for an advanced math class, we'd love to hear from you to see what clever idea you came up with.

Crossword puzzles can work great for math. However, let me give you one word of caution before you start marking your own. If all the answers in your puzzle are very short, then it might be impossible to generate the crossword. There has to be overlap digits between the answers, and there also needs to be white space between answers that don't cross. If most you answers are at least three digits, you should be fine. If you run into any trouble, add a four digit, five digit, or longer answer. That should unclog things. Don't fret, our maker will tell you if there is a problem. If there is, you just need to add a couple longer answers.
